2006 Events:

Pacific Northwest Hover-In: 18-20 August, Toledo, Washington USA

Experience hovercrafting at its finest in the Pacific Northwest, at the River Oaks RV Park and Campground, located on the northern shore of the Cowlitz River and just an hour from the hiking trails of Mt. World Hovercraft Championship: 22-27 August, Lot, France

Registration is now closed and 161 drivers are scheduled to participate in the 2006 World Hovercraft Championship, which will debut an exciting and prestigious new event: World Hovercraft Cup Endurance Racing. This new concept is specifically designed to attract teams from throughout the world to engage in friendly competition between nations while encouraging quieter, more economic and environmentally friendly hovercraft. WHC2006 endurance racing will consist of three one-hour races on separate days, and the winning team will take home the World Hover Cup for their nation.

This is a premiere opportunity for student hovercrafters worldwide to experience European hovercrafting. Drivers age 11 to 16 years will be able to participate in World Hovercraft Cup Endurance Racing as a part of a senior team.
