::: DiscoverHover Curriculum Guides

The DiscoverHover team of educators and consultants is currently finalizing a comprehensive set of Curriculum Guides, Lesson Plans and supporting materials for educators. (See samples below). As materials are completed, they can be seen here.

All DiscoverHover educational materials are designed to conform to the US National Science Education Standards. They are being developed by the DiscoverHover Advisory Board in conjunction with leading educators and hovercraft experts from throughout United States and Canada. As additional nations participate in DiscoverHover, we will continually update our instructional materials to reflect the curriculum standards for each nation.

The sample Curriculum Guides below were developed and reviewed by the following:

  • James E. Benini, Original Lead Author
  • James C. Wallace II, DiscoverHover Education Director
  • Dr. Michael McInerney, Professor of Physics, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, the top-rated engineering school in the United States
  • Brian Hirsch, DiscoverHover Physics Consultant, a Rose-Hulman graduate;
  • Mike Dason and Marcus Songer, technology instructors, Vigo County Schools, Terre Haute, Indiana
  • Chris Fitzgerald, Editor

These samples are directed to university level students. Ultimately, all DiscoverHover educational materials will be available for all age levels and in the languages of participating nations.
